Dance Show Winner Thanks Peoria Fans

Fik-Shun visited the River City and gave a special performance.
PEORIA - He won best male dancer in season 10 of Fox’s "So You Think You Can Dance," Saturday Fik-Shun met up with a few fans to say thanks.

While he lived out of state with his father, Fik-Shun's mother has lived in Peoria for 13 years. That means the young dancer had a lot of support during his run on the popular Fox show.

He spent some time at Peoria’s D&D Production Studio Saturday afternoon answering questions and even gave a special performance.

"I've been coming back and forth to Peoria since I was like, really little so it really is a second home to me," Fik-Shun said. "Everybody was really involved in every step of the way so it really makes me very happy so I'm just here to, you know, say thank you and showcase a little bit of what I do."

Think you can dance? The show is hosting auditions in Chicago on February 27th at the Oriental Theater located at 24 West Randolph Street. Registration starts at 8:00 a.m. Learn more at www.fox.com/dance
