Death of 8 Year Old Peorian Ruled Homicide by Coroner's Jury

Death of 8 Year Old Peorian Ruled Homicide by Coroner's Jury
The death of an 8 year old boy found in the backyard of a home on Peoria's south side was ruled  a homicide Thursday by a Peoria County Coroner's jury in the death of Marquail Johnson. His body was found in a refrigerator in a yard near his home. Johnson's  cause of death was suffocation and entrapment. Peoria County State's Attorney Jerry Brady tells WMBD News there is still uncertainty as to how Johnson got into the closed refrigerator. However, Brady also said, while there were some inconsistencies as to the time the boy was last seen alive, there's no evidence of any criminal conduct. An autopsy showed there was no evidence of trauma to the youngster.
