A federal judge Tuesday ordered LaSalle County authorities to preserve any potential video evidence of jailhouse strip searches. That order comes after a Grundy County woman last week filed suit claiming she was forcibly stripped by deputies after a DUI arrest last spring. According to the Chicago Tribune, other women have reportedly come forward claiming similar conduct. Dana Holmes claims her civil rights were violated and the strip search has caused her emotional harm. Police claim Holmes was uncooperative while being searched.
