Illinois Governor Pat Quinn is appealing a judge's decision last week to re instate lawmakers pay. A Cook County judge decided the governor's decision to stop paying lawmakers until a pension reform issue was resolved was unconstitutional and the state was ordered to pay the lawmakers plus interest. Wednesday afternoon, Quinn filed a motion to fast track his appeal by sending it directly to the Illinois Supreme Court, bypassing a decision by the Illinois Appellate Court.
