BLOOMINGTON - A new recycling program will help raise money for a local ministry.

Home Sweet Home Ministries is launching a new clothing recycling program called HSHRenew.

Bins for old clothing are now set up in front of several local businesses in the Twin Cities. It will take donated clothing and give it to a third party retailer.

All of the money will stay in the community, and go to local families in need.

"This is a locally grown program, and so all the revenue generated from this through the textile recycling is going to stay right here and help build our community and help our local residents,” said Michael Brown, executive director at Ecology Action Center.

There are currently three locations set up across Bloomington. Home Sweet Home hopes to set up seven more in coming months.
