WASHINGTON, DC - The Marine Corps War Memorial is considered one of the most popular destinations in Washington DC. The statue depicts six Marines, raising the American flag when we captured Iwo Jima and ended one of the biggest battles in World War Two. For many, this represents history, but WMBD's Andrew Barra talks with one veteran who actually got to live that history.
