Council members unanimously voted Beth Jensen into the horse shoe Tuesday night. Jensen is replacing the late and longtime councilman Gary Sandberg. She officially swore in at City Hall with her family by her side.
“Thank you to my husband, David, who is looking forward to a lot more kid time. And to my beautiful boys, William and Charlie, you guys are the best.
Jensen has said one of her focuses will be on attracting more young professionals to the area. In other action, faced with a projected $3 million deficit next year, the council voted Tuesday to let district councilmen decide on how to spend any unused money in the community investment plan project.
