WMBD/WYZZ-TV Staff - Peoria, Ill. -- Peoria Manual was an easy choice for this week's Game Day Game Ball. The Rams are in the playoffs for the first time since 1999 and will play at Pontiac on Friday night at 7:00.

In 6A, Normal West hosts Crete in it's first round game. The Wildcats played a strong regular season schedule that included victories against Normal Community and Bloomington. West also was within a touchdown of beating Danville, who has been 6A's top team all year.

Wildcats coach Darren Hess says the Danville game was the turning point of his team's season because it gave them confidence knowing that they can play with the best.
