The Class A Midwest League affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals will open the season Thursday night at home against Wisconsin.
"There'll likely be a bigger crowd than when I pitched in college. I'm looking forward to it," said opening night starter Kurt Heyer, who pitched the University of Arizona to a College world Series title last summer. "I try to take this as any other regular start. I'm not putting any extra pressure on myself, just trying to go out there and do the best I can for the team."
