New Poll Shows Public Against Syrian Strike

New Poll Shows Public Against Syria Strike
As President Obama prepares to address the nation about a strike against Syria, a new CNN poll released Monday shows he has his work cut out for him to persuade the public because the public is overwhemingly against such a proposal. 8 out of 10 Americans believe Syrian's president gassed his own people, but a strong majority doesn't want the U S to launch a military strike against the country. More than 7 in 10 say such a strike wouldn't achieve significant goals for the U S and is not in United State's interest to get involved in a civil war in Syria.
