President Obama's latest approval rating from Gallup has slipped as he loses ground with voters on several issues, including the economy. According to the latest Gallup poll released Thursday, Obama's overall rating has dropped to 44 percent while his handling of the economy has slumped to just 35 percent while 62 percent of voters surveyed disapprove of his handling of the economy. Only 26 percent approve of his handling of the federal budget deficit . Gallup notes his drop in approval rating coincides with drop in economic confidence and only 22 percent of voters are satisfied with the direction of the country, the lowest since March.
