A Marquette Heights man, charged with killing a Peoria nighclub owner and starting a fire after the crime, pleaded NOT GUILTY Thursday. 29 year old Bryan Stewart is facing murder, aggravated arson and arson charges for the stabbing death of Todd Scholl whose body was found in a burning storage room on Southwest Perry. Stewart, who claims he acted in self defense, is back in court December 4th. If convicted, Stewart could face up to 60 years in prison on the murder charge and up to 30 years in prison on the arson charge.
