Peoria Teen Pleads NOT GUILTY to Shooting Indictment

A Peoria teenager, indicted for allegedly shooting someone at a Mossville Roller Rink last month, pleaded NOT GUILTY Thursday. The 16 year old is charged with aggravated battery, aggravated discharge of a firearm and unlawful use of a weapon. The case will be heard in adult court rather than juvenile court due to the seriousness of the charges. Police say shots were fired at the rink August 7th and one person was reportedly struck. The suspect will be back in court November 4th.
