Pets Line Up for Pictures with Santa

Pet friendly pictures
PEORIA - It isn't even Halloween yet, but one organization already started pawing at the Christmas season on Saturday with pet friendly Christmas Cards.

With tails wagging, dozens of dogs brought their owners along to Tender Care Animal Hospital along Route 91. Pooches sat pretty with Santa Claus, some decked out in green and red costumes.

The proceeds from the prints will go to Foster Pet Outreach, an organization that rescues cats and dogs and rehabs cats and dogs through foster homes.

"We have a lot of people take Christmas cards. So it's wonderful to be able to pass those out and to family and friends and you know, show off the whole family," said FPO Interim President, Tanya Cocos.

Last year, the fundraiser raked in $1,200. This year FPO is setting its sights even higher with hopes of raising $2,000.
