PEORIA - The Red Cross emergency command center has set up shop in the Peoria Civic Center.
They have been working around the clock to provide food, shelter, and relief supplies for storm victims.
The Red Cross is working on the ground to help people get back on their feet.
They are working closely with the government and community organization to help in recovery efforts.
They are also providing one-on-one meetings with people who need extra help with emergency needs.
"Now that it's starting to go to more of the client case work one on one, we'll really see down the road what it is the families are needing. The Red Cross will be assisting according to what each family's situation is,” said Erin Miller, of the Red Cross.
The Red Cross also set up their emergency command center at the Peoria Civic Center during April’s major flooding.
