United Way of McLean County announced Wednesday it has raised $1,011,926 or 23 percent of its goal for the 2013 campaign as of the end of October. The campaign has a goal of $4.35 million. The campaign provides resources to more than 60 programs and inititatives. Those programs allowed UWMC and its funded community impact partners to directly impact the lives of one in five local residents in 2012. More than 400 local businesses and organizations are participating in this year's campaign. Each year around 60 percent of the dollars raised during the campaign come from workplace campaigns.
