Toulon Man Pleads Guilty to Attempted Bank Robbery
A Toulon man pleaded guilty Friday in Stark County to attempted bank robbery and faces from 3 to 7 years in prison. 28 year old Joshua A. Williams was accused of trying to rob the State Bank of Toulon last May. Authorities claim he entered the bank with a plastic bag over his head and demanded money but the teller refused and Williams fled. Police say he returned to the bank later saying it was all a joke. Williams, who prosecutors say has two drug convictions and a weapons conviction out of Henry County, will be sentenced December 13th.
