Two men, arrested in connection with a million dollar theft from Caterpillar, were indicted Thursday. 50 year old John Peters of East Peoria and 35 year old Eliot Wells of Peoria are accused of theft in what police call a three year scheme. Police, using a search warrant at Peters' house, say they found 300 thousand dollars of Caterpillar property. The two former contract workers allegedly carried the stolen items out in a lunch bag and used an EBay account to sell the property over the Internet. Bond remains at a half million dollars and both men are due in court October 10th.
