WASHINGTON - The Washington Library is helping tornado victims reconnect with lost items.
Anyone who finds personal items from the November tornado can turn them into the library.
They’ll take a picture of it and post it on their website and Facebook pages.
While many items have been returned, the library still has more than 60 items that haven’t been claimed.
The library’s director says they’ll continue to accept and return items.
We’re putting the pictures up on our website, as well as select pictures on our library’s Facebook page,” says director Randall Yelverton, “People will come by and we collect their information and try to reconnect them with those items.”
The library is hosting events throughout January and February for tornado victims.
