Wesleyan has "strength in seniors"

IWU has a record of 32 Seniors on this year's squad.

BLOOMINGTON - Illinois Wesleyan hopes to be smiling at the end of football season.  They took pictures in their uniforms on Friday.

The Titans started last season with six straight wins, then lost for in a row to end the year.  Norm Eash has a record of 32 seniors on the roster, and they are ready to make ammends for last year's finish.

"A lot of our seniors played on a 0-1 team, so if you had me really describe this squad it woudl be experience, experience, experience," said Norm Eash, IWU Head Coach. "To win in our league in the CCIW you got to have that experience, and with that experience we have alot of talent."

"We are definitely going for a conference title," TJ Stinde, IWU Running Back. "Like our coach said, we are the biggest class in history. Now make something out of it. Don't just be known for being the big class, be known for more then that and that is our goal."

"We have alot of guys coming in with experience and our conference you need guys like that," said Senior Quarterback Rob Gallik. "32 seniors is a huge number, espicially with 10 on the offense and nine on the defense. Everyone knows what they are doing. You get to take out that learning time."

Wesleyan kicks off the season September 7th at Aurora.
