Scattered cloud cover won't stop southerly winds from warming today's highs into the mid 50s. We'll be clear and cool overnight as lows drop into the upper 20s and low 30s. A front draped across the area will bring a few clouds on Saturday. Most of central Illinois will be on the warm side of the front, seeing highs in the mid 50s. On Sunday, the front will dive south and bring in some much chillier air. Mostly cloudy skies will keep highs in the mid 30s. Parts of our area could see a chance of wintry mix, but most of us will be dry through the weekend. St. Patrick's Day will be sunny, but still fairly cool. Highs on Monday will only reach the upper 30s. A warm up begins on Tuesday, bringing highs back into the upper 40s and low 50s. On Wednesday, a low pressure system moving through will bring us a chance at wintry mix. We'll dry out into the end of the week with highs in the 40s and 50s.
