A front stalled out across southern Illinois will be the focus for our forecast over the next few days. The front will keep us partly cloudy with breezy easterly winds today and tomorrow. Highs for the beginning of the week will reach the upper 60s and low 70s. As the warm front pulls north on Wednesday, highs will bump up into the low to mid 80s! We'll see highs near 80 again on Thursday, but a good chance of storms will move in. Strong thunderstorms are possible starting Thursday afternoon/night and lasting into Friday. Temperatures will cool as the system passes, with highs only reaching the low to mid 70s and Friday. Saturday will be sunny with highs near 70s. Mother's day highs will hit the low 70s as well. You may want to treat mom to an indoor activity as another chance of storms moves in Sunday night and lasts us into early next week. Temperatures will warm into the mid to upper 70s for next Monday and Tuesday.
