Another round of frigid temperatures will move into the area starting Tuesday night.  The long term pattern over the next 8 days will feature well below average temperatures with a few shots for snow.

Wind Chill Advisory will be in effect for most of central Illinois beginning at 12am, Wednesday.  Overnight lows are expected to fall just below zero area wide, with wind chill readings ranging between -15 to -25 early Wednesday morning.

Dry conditions with very cold temperatures will continue for Wednesday.  Mostly sunny skies with highs in the middle teens are expected with blustery winds out of the southwest.

Another quiet day with cold temperatures as highs top out in the middle teens.

Friday into the Weekend:

A couple of systems that we will be watching very closely.  Friday has a system moving in that could bring some lighter accumulations.  Saturday looks to be dry for now.  The big question mark will be track of a stronger system that a few models are advertising.  Still way too many questions to be certain on precipitation type and amounts, but something certainly worth watching as we get closer and the picture becomes a little more clear.
