Despite the breezy conditions, Tuesday turned out to a fantastic day across central Illinois.  If you are a fan of the warmer temperatures, the next few days are for you!

A few clouds will hang around.  Winds will remain a bit breezy overnight, but temperatures will continue to be mild, with overnight lows right around 60.

Wednesday will be the warmest day of the week as a warm front lifts to the north.  Highs should easily move into the 80's, with some areas south of I-74 making a run into the upper 80's.

Rain chances will return to the area by Thursday.  Timing still is a little up in the air, but areas west of the Illinois River will have the best chance to see a few pop up showers and storms.  A few of the storms could be on the strong to severe side, with damaging straight line winds and large hail the primary concerns.

8 Day Outlook:

Rain chances will continue through Friday morning.  We'll look to dry out Friday afternoon through Saturday.  A few showers and storms may roll in for Mother's Day with slightly above average temperatures.
