Severe Storm Reports - Saturday October 14th, 2017

Multiple lines of strong to severe thunderstorms rolled through Central Illinois Saturday afternoon and evening.

The first line of storms was the strongest as it prompted multiple Severe Thunderstorm Warnings and a few Tornado Warnings. Reports of wind damage came from Knox, Peoria, Woodford and Putnam Counties as 60-70 MPH wind gusts moved through the region. Trees brought down power lines in Chillicothe and blocked roads along Route 26 in Woodford County.

Three to four inches of heavy rain lead to flash flooding in Galesburg where cars were reported to have stalled in the middle of roadways.
