A stalled out boundary across the state has created about a 10º swing from north to south.  Even still, the temperatures are quite comfortable across the area.

Tonight:

Winds will settle down with slightly cooler than average temperatures.

Tomorrow:

Boundary will lift north of the area on Tuesday, allowing for most of central Illinois to tap into warmer air.  Highs should top out in the mid to upper 70's.

Wednesday:

will be the warmest of the week as temperatures top out in the mid to upper 80's, almost 15 degrees above average for this time of year.

8 Day Outlook:

Next chance for rain will arrive with a slow moving system that will camp out just to our west.  Expect a few scattered showers and storms for Thursday afternoon and evening.  Better chance for rain will move in Friday as the system starts the slow progression eastward.  Temperatures will scale back a bit for the end of the week, but should remain slightly above average over the next 8 days.
