Digital Reporter
Kate Stevens is a 2023 graduate of Eastern Illinois University, where she majored in journalism and minored in marketing.
While at Eastern, she was the assistant sports editor for its student publication, The Daily Eastern News, and was the sports editor for the Warbler yearbook.
Kate is originally from Freeport, Ill., (yes, the home of the pretzels!) where she graduated from Freeport High School in 2019 and Highland Community College in 2021.
She enjoys the watching the Chicago Bears and The Office, being outdoors, and spending time with family and friends.
Kate has been working with WMBD in its digital department since June 2023.
