Mark is the Capitol Bureau Chief covering the Illinois statehouse for WCIA in Springfield and the host of Capitol Connection.
Mark’s first job was to deliver newspapers for the Hammond Times at age 8. After detours in healthcare and real estate, he returned to his roots in delivering the news.
Before joining WCIA, Mark was a news anchor and reporter for WHDT and a producer for CSN Chicago.
Mark is an award-winning graduate of the Illinois Center for Broadcasting in the Class of 2014 and a graduate of Hyles-Anderson College with his Bachelor’s degree in the Class of 2010.
