Nina McFarlane is a Multimedia Journalist and joined the evening news team in January 2021, but she didn’t move too far!
Born and raised in St. Charles, IL and spending four years in Bloomington, Central Illinois holds a special place in her heart. She’s excited to continue to learn more about the community and share your stories.
Nina graduated from Illinois State University with a degree in Journalism in December 2020. During her time there, she was a reporter, producer, and anchor for TV-10 News.
Switching mediums, she was a news reporter for ISU’s student radio station 103.3 WZND.
Aside from news, she always kept herself busy. On the weekends, she traded her camera for a microphone as she hosted the Women’s Basketball Games during the 2018 season.
Although the school year was over, she was determined to keep working in media. Nina has previously interned at WGN Chicago, 97.1 The Drive and 101.9 The Mix.
