Goo Goo Dolls coming to Peoria this fall

PEORIA, Ill. — The GRAMMY-nominated rock band Goo Goo Dolls is coming to the River City this fall.

The band is set to play at 8 p.m. Nov. 5 at the Peoria Civic Center Theater. They are going on a nationwide tour promoting the release of their newest album “Miracle Pill,” out Sept. 13.

Some of their popular songs include “Iris,” “Name,” “Come to Me,” and “Slide.” John Rzeznikand and RobbyTakac formed the band in 1986.

Tickets start at $35.00 and go on sale to the public at 10 a.m. Friday. They can be purchased at www.ticketmaster.com or at the Toyota Box Office.
