Here are three easy recipes you can try in your crockpot!

Honey Rosemary Balsamic glazed Chicken & Vegetables

What you need:

  • 1.5 pounds Chicken breast, cut into bite size pieces
  • 1/3 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp. rosemary, chopped
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 pkg. frozen mixed vegetables.

 
What you do:

  1. Place ingredient into a large freezer bag.
  2. When ready to cook, place ingredients into a crock pot. Cook on low for 6- 8 hours.

*Serve with brown rice to complete this meal!

 
Slow Cooker Sloppy Joes

All you need:

  • 1 pound ground beef (I recommend at least 93/7 for a healthier choice)
  • ½ green pepper, diced
  • ½ red pepper, diced
  • ¼ white onion, chopped
  • 1 (15 oz) can Sloppy Joe Sauce
  • 1 package whole wheat hamburger buns

 
All you do:

  1. Combine all ingredients except buns in a large freezer bag.  Freeze until ready to cook.

 
To prepare at home:
Thaw in refrigerator overnight.  Place in bottom of slower cooker. Cook on low for 7-8 hours or high for about 4 hours until beef is cooked through.  Serve atop the hamburger buns. 

 
Creamy Italian Chicken
Serves 4-6

What you need:

  • 4 Chicken breast
  • 1 (8oz.) low fat cream cheese, softened
  • 1 can reduced sodium cream of chicken
  • 1 dry packet of Italian seasoning
  • 1, 10oz package frozen broccoli

 
What you do:

  1. Place all ingredients into freezer bag.
  2. When ready to cook, place ingredients into a crock pot and cook on low for 4-6 hours.

*Add whole wheat roll or brown rice to complete this meal!
