Rebuilding Together Peoria, formerly known as Christmas in April in Peoria, is seeking applicants in the Peoria, Peoria Heights, Peoria County, and East Peoria, areas, for its 2017 Rebuilding Season. Home renovation and repairs are provided free of charge to qualifying homeowners. 2017 National Rebuilding Day is Saturday, April 29, 2017.
Qualifying low income elderly or disabled homeowners must complete an application process, with total household income falling within HUD income guidelines. 2017 will mark Rebuilding Together Peoria’s 24th Rebuilding Season. Rebuilding Together Peoria is a non-profit, non-sectarian, volunteer organization dedicated to helping low-income homeowners, whose goal is helping people live in warmth, safety and independence while helping build better neighborhoods, in collaboration with community & corporate partners. Nationwide, Rebuilding Together’s local affiliates and nearly 100,000 volunteers complete about 10,000 rebuild projects each year.
