Active Life With Bob Larson

Multi-generational traveling

Many families are planning a big summer vacation this time of the year - but there are some things to keep in mind if you are including the whole family.

In retirement, you have more time and resources to do the traveling you couldn't do while working. Many seniors choose to use that time to vacation with their kids and grandkids. A Place For Mom says when planning such a trip, you should find activities for everybody.

All-inclusive resorts, theme parks and family summer camps fit into that category.

Don't forget to keep everyone's schedule in mind. School schedules, work flexibility and busy seasons at your destination could play a role in your planning.

And, of course, money also plays a factor.

Before booking your vacation, discuss how the costs will be split up.
