NORMAL, Ill. – The Hyatt Place in Uptown Normal is up for sale.
According to The Pantagraph, Normal City Manager Pam Reece confirmed the news.
The hotel was built four years ago. At one point, owners sought a tax break as part of a refinancing effort, though they eventually dropped the request. The current owner, Uptown Circle LLC, did not respond to comment.
This comes just over a year after the Marriott Hotel across the street changed owners.
The Hyatt Place has 114 rooms and is blocks away from the Illinois State University campus.
