The Jewish Federation Of Peoria Is Helping Children Learn From The Past To Ensure A Better Future

Living Well

As children, many of us read The Diary of Anne Frank, a book that shares the tragic, personal account of a teenage Jewish girl and her family who were forced into hiding during the Nazi occupation of Amsterdam in 1942. Seeing the world through her eyes broadens our perspective and challenges us to do our part in the fight against racism. The Jewish Federation of Peoria is helping children in our community learn more about the Holocaust by researching the lives of other children who were forever changed during that heinous event. Joining me now with more on how they are accomplishing that goal is Susan Katz.
