NORMAL IL - Update: August 8, 2017
The McLean County Coroner has identified the victim of Sunday's fire as 68-year-old Diana McLaren Osburne. Preliminary autopsy results indicate Mrs. Osburne died of probable carbon monoxide intoxication due to inhalation of smoke and soot in the fire.
The McLean County Coroner's Office and Normal Fire department are investigating the case.

A woman is dead after an early morning fire in Normal.
Crews were called to the 1500 block of Hunt Drive just after midnight when neighbors saw smoke coming from a four unit condo.
Firefighters found heavy smoke and fire in one of the four units, where they also found a 68-year-old woman lying in the kitchen floor.
She was unresponsive and attempts by emergency responders to resuscitate her were not successful.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
And autopsy is scheduled for today.
No one else was hurt in the fire.
Part of the roof did collapse and the other units were damaged by the smoke, fire, and water. The building was deemed unsafe for anyone to stay in.
The cause of the fire is not yet known.
