BLOOMINGTON, Ill. — There is a new OSF Medical Center in Bloomington, and on Wednesday healthcare leaders came together to cut the ribbon to the new three-story facility.

The new $25.3 million, 53,000 square foot building will house an infusion clinic, a cardiovascular institute, OSF PromptCare and many more.

Leaders say it will provide everything from check-ups to minor surgery.

“We are just really excited to have this open and available to patients,” said OSF HealthCare President Lynn Fulton. “They (will be able to) access the care they need in a nice environment and be able to work with our clinicians who can truly connect them to the care.”

There will be an open house at the new facility on Thursday from four to seven.

Fulton says the facility should be fully running later this month.
