A two-year-old boy drowns in a pool in East Peoria on Aug. 27.
When EMS arrived, they found the child’s grandparents performing CPR. The child was not breathing.
He was transported to OSF Saint Francis Medical Center, and was admitted to the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit in critical condition.
Despite aggressive treatment, six days later the child, Cazmirr Landers, was pronounced dead at 12:55 p.m. Sunday at OSF.
His immediate cause of death is drowning. No foul play is suspected.
