PEORIA — Alexis Scott’s mother will appear on the national television show “The Steve Wilkos Show” this Friday to share the story of her missing daughter.

The episode, “My Daughter Has Been Missing Over A Year, I Believe You Kidnapped Her” was taped on March 6 and will air at 8 a.m. Friday on the CW.

The N9NE Culture Lounge is hosting a watch party with a $5 fee; proceeds will go towards efforts to find Scott. Breakfast items will be available.

In the promo, Scotts mother, April, confonts a man named Leland, who she believes kidnapped Alexis.

Scott was last seen at a party on Sept. 23, 2017.

In August 2018, the Peoria Police Department said they have worked hundreds of hours, interviewing dozens of people and issuing 19 search warrants.
