PEORIA, Ill. — The Cat Fancier’s Association is keeping up tradition here in Peoria with it’s 43rd annual cat show.
Cat owners all throughout the city were able to come out and submit their pets in friendly competition.
Cat lovers also got the chance to see their favorite breeds showcased and could even take steps toward adopting one.
The show has a long history in the Peoria community.
Event organizers are always looking forward to seeing new people coming out to the events every year and showing support.
“This year it’s just a general love your cat kind of show, and we encourage people to come out and visit us and visit with the exhibitors because they love to talk about their animals,” said co-show manager Cathy Dunham.
Those in the area who missed the show on Saturday have a chance to see it on Sunday.
The show will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Show Hall Expo Gardens on 1601 W. Northmoor Rd. Peoria, IL 61614.
