Bartonville PD searching for ‘armed and dangerous’ suspects in vehicle theft

Local News

The Bartonville Police Department is looking for three male suspects involved in a theft, who are considered “armed and dangerous.”

Police said a victim stated he was “jumped” by three men while he was working on his 2004 Audi A6 sedan that was parked in the 100 block of Rosaria Ave at around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday. The victim said the men demanded the keys to his car and one of them threatened him with a handgun.

After the victim gave his keys to the men, they attempted to bind his hands and struck his head with the gun. The victim then fled on foot to a local busness to ask for help. Police said the man was taken to the hospital after that.

The men in the ski masks are described as two white men and one black man, all roughly 35-40 years old.

The car has an Illinois license plate that reads “AR55735.” If you see this car, officials ask for you to call 911 immediately.
