Bloomington man arrested for selling meth

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - A Bloomington man is sitting in jail after getting arrested for selling methamphetamine.

On Thursday, February 8, Bloomington Police Officers concluded a drug investigation and arrested 31 year old Jacob Laws.

Officers encountered Laws in possession of drug paraphernalia, while in the 400 block of Brock Drive. A subsequent search of Laws' motel room resulted in officers finding proof of meth production.

About 128 grams of meth was seized by the Illinois State Police's Methamphetamine Response Team (ISPMRT). Items used to make the meth was dismantled by ISPMRT.

Laws was transported to the McLean County Jail.
