Bloomington police respond to another armed robbery

The Bloomington Police Department responded to an armed robbery after 8 p.m. Thursday at the Walgreens at 909 S Main St. 

The suspect reportedly entered the store, demanded money from an employee while wielding a knife. The suspect, described as a black male wearing all black, took an undisclosed amount of cash and left on foot.

No one was injured during the incident. This investigation is ongoing.

This is the ninth armed robbery the BPD has responded to since Dec. 14.
