Traffic on I-74 is now reopened after a man jumped off the Murray Baker Bridge.

On Thursday, at 7:13 a.m.. a male was driving on I-74 and came to a stop on the bridge. The male then left the car and jumped off the bridge into the Illinois River. The sudden stop caused a three-vehicle crash in the westbound lane, causing a temporary lane closure.

First responders are still looking for the man who jumped into the river.

Illinois State Police is investigating the incident itself while the crash is being investigated by East Peoria Police.
