BPD seeking suspect in armed robbery incident

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. — The Bloomington Police Department is looking for a suspect regarding a Tuesday morning armed robbery incident.

Police were first called to the 900 block of Maple Hill Road for a report of an armed robbery at approximately 1:57 a.m.

The BPD said the suspect was described as wearing all black, was 20-29 years old, approximately 5’09,” and approximately 180 pounds. It was reported that a male suspect entered the hotel holding a firearm, demanded money from an adult hotel employee, and left with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Nobody was injured during the incident.
