Bradley University armed robbery

Bradley University Campus police and Peoria police received reports of a robbery that occurred Saturday morning.

At approximately 1 a.m. an unknown suspect approached the victim at the intersection of W. Russell Street and N. Frink Street.

Reports states the suspect approached the victim, displayed a handgun and demanded property.

When the victim refused, the suspect pushed the victim down and took the property before fleeing the scene on foot south and west toward campus.

Police said the victim received very minor injuries.

The suspect was described as a male, 5 feet 8 inches tall, 130 pounds, wearing a black hoodie sweatshirt, black pants and black shoes.

Police are still investigating the incident.
