Fulton County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a stolen car in Peoria County on July 3, according to their Facebook.
The car drove westbound on County 14 Highway.
While tracking the stolen car, deputies received an additional car of a male suspect had entered a residence on Roddis Rd., near that highway.
Those at the home were able to get away and call 911.
Once deputies arrived, they went inside and arrested the man, Joshua T. Hennessey, 39, of Springfield.
Hennessey is being held at the Fulton County Jail and being charged with unlawful possession of a stolen vehicle, residential burglary, and resisting a peace officer.
Hennessey is currently on parole from the Illinois Department of Corrections.
