NORMAL, Ill. — It’s National Hot Dog Day and one place in central Illinois celebrates the holiday everyday.

You can stop by Windy City Wieners at their Bloomington and Normal locations for a taste of Chicago’s best.

“We opened up and within a month we were voted best hot dog in the area- ISU students love us, locals love us and we are just happy to be here,” said Adam Elpayaa, owner of Windy City Wieners.

“It’s an all-beef premium hot dog that have a natural casing that snaps when you bite into it, which not many places do anymore,” said Elpayaa. “We drag it through the garden with mustard, relish, onion, tomato, pickles, pepper and celery salt. It really comes together on a poppy seed bun and it’s a great dog.”

Just make sure to get there quick; their hot dog promo only lasts through Sunday.

“Come on down , they’re only $2.25,” the owner said. “So eat as many dogs as you can.”
