The government’s decision to pass a budget bill will help community health centers throughout the country.
Under this bill, community health centers would receive $7 billion in funding.
If the bill did not pass, Heartland Health Services would have lost over $1.7 million in critical funding.
Now, Heartland is looking forward to continuing its services with patients throughout Central Illinois.
“This means we can continue to grow, continue our outreach and enrollment efforts, we can continue to do all of our quality programs and it really helps to cure our ability to take care of our patients,” says Gregg Stoner, chief medical officer at Heartland Health Services.
