Council Approves First Step in Bradley Expansion

Two buildings on campus are coming down

PEORIA - Bradley University takes the first step toward expansion.

City council approved an ordinance Tuesday night allowing for the demolition of Baker and Jobst Halls.

The university plans to build a new business and engineering complex in that space, costing the school close to $100 million.

Council members said this expansion is critical to Peoria.
